All Editors Guild meetings are open to current members and
to professional freelance editors considering
membership.
In Seattle, the Guild generally meets on the second Monday evening
of the odd-numbered months in the Alice and Winslow Rooms at Richard Hugo
House on Capitol Hill.
Once or twice a year, we have a purely social potluck at a park or a member's
home.
Next meeting
Monday, September
8,
2008
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Location
Richard
Hugo House on Capitol Hill
1634 11th Avenue (near Pine)
Alice and Winslow Rooms
Topic: "The State of the Market"
A panel of speakers will discuss the landscape of the travel/outdoors market and
what special skills are needed.
As always at meetings, there will be time for questions and
discussion.
Parking
Allow extra time to find parking on
Capitol Hill! There are about a dozen spots behind/beside Hugo House, and a pay
parking garage next to Seattle Central Community College, at Pine and Harvard.
Buses
Many buses serve the area, including
the 7, 10, and 11. To plot your route from your home, use Metro's handy online
bus planner.
